Position Summary:
As a Marketing Associate, you will design and create compelling visual content and strategic communications that translate complex health and scientific information into engaging, accessible formats for diverse audiences. You will draw on your expertise in graphic design, content strategy, and marketing communications to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and deliver measurable results. As a member of a collaborative marketing team, you will participate in the full content lifecycle from ideation to analytics, while maintaining the ability to work independently on day-to-day deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and visual identity
Implementation, creation, and management of visual assets including social media graphics, infographics, presentations, and marketing collateral
Define and implement scalable content workflows that maintain quality while meeting aggressive deadlines
Collaborate with subject matter experts, including health professionals and scientific advisors, to ensure accuracy while maintaining engaging communication
Utilize industry-standard design tools to create, optimize, and manage visual content across multiple platforms
Develop and maintain content calendars and scheduling systems to ensure consistent, strategic content delivery
Transform technical and scientific information into clear, compelling content that resonates with target audiences
Implement robust quality control measures to ensure accuracy of health-related content while maintaining brand guidelines
Continuously monitor and analyze content performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
Participate in creative reviews and contribute to the establishment of design standards and best practices
Stay current with emerging trends in social media, content marketing, and design, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our content strategy
Collaborate with and coordinate freelance designers for specialized projects while maintaining creative direction
Influence, educate and directly support internal teams on visual best practices and brand guidelines
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, or related field
3+ years experience in marketing or content creation with proven track record of translating complex information into engaging visual content
Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling abilities
Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling copy and transform technical information into accessible content
Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, and analytics across major platforms
Deep knowledge of current design trends, best practices, and ability to maintain consistent brand identity across multiple channels while adapting to new platforms and formats
